Epic proves how smart and cunning he is on the battlefield every time. He has two half-brothers and his father sends the Persian prince Epic to wars with his brothers. Prince Destan was adopted by the Persian king at a young age, he always loved the king like his own father. Get ready to enjoy a movie worthy of a Thousand and One Nights with Assassins, Sorcerers, Hashashins. We will witness the legendary stories and adventures of the prince of Persia, who is an orphan but equally mischievous.

The film, which was transferred to the cinema for the first time in 2010, achieved a very good success after the plays that were played with great admiration.

On the one hand, this is a broad fantasy that does little to develop its own version of ancient Persia.(Admittedly, the ostrich races are a nice touch and bound to offend some animal rights activist.) By contrast, the movie takes itself too seriously and desperately wants to have something important to say about current events, thus possibly explaining the lack of irony in Jake Gyllenhaal's performance.(Keeping his American accent intact would have helped Dastan stand out as the outsider he is.) Not helping matters is the lack of chemistry he shares with Gemma Arterton which is important if you are going to try and pull off some quality romantic bickering. We started to see the images about the Persian prince with the plays that started years ago. "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" is a wildly uneven movie that has little idea what it wants to be. But then the king is murdered and Nizam(Ben Kingsley), the king's brother, blames Dastan, causing him to flee with Princess Tamina(Gemma Arterton) and a magic dagger. So while the Persian army is planning on attacking via the front door, the king's adopted son Dastan(Jake Gyllenhaal) takes his irregulars through the side door, allowing the city to be taken without much loss of life. Stop me if you have heard this before, but "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" starts with King Sharaman(Ronald Pickup) receiving intelligence that the holy city of Alamut is stockpiling weapons in aid of a planned revolt.
